Each step is created to ensure credibility, professional evaluation and a memorable experience for participants and guests.

Each entry is reviewed according to defined professional criteria, with a focus on treatment planning, execution and clinical outcome.

The evaluation process is designed to ensure consistency, credibility and high clinical standards.
Finalists on Stage

CATEGORIES
Nine categories. One European stage.
The European Dental Awards categories reflect the diversity, complexity and clinical excellence of modern dentistry.
From specialised treatments to interdisciplinary approaches, each category is designed to recognise exceptional work and bring forward the cases that define the highest standards of the profession.
Interdisciplinary Oral Rehabilitation

Complex cases that integrate at least two dental specialties into one coherent treatment plan.
Designed for team-based rehabilitations where diagnosis, planning and execution are coordinated across multiple areas of dentistry to achieve a functional and aesthetic result.
Best suited for: interdisciplinary cases performed by a clinical team, not single-specialty treatments.
Coronal Restoration

Best suited for: focused restorative cases with a maximum of three treated teeth.
Extensive Coronal Restoration
Extensive Coronal Restoration
Complex restorative cases involving the reconstruction of four or more teeth.
Designed for extended direct or indirect restorations where the overall harmony of form, colour, function and occlusion is central to the result.
Best suited for: larger restorative cases, without becoming a complex interdisciplinary rehabilitation.
Endodontic Treatment
Endodontic Treatment
Endodontic cases performed on a single tooth, with clear clinical and radiological documentation.
Designed for primary treatments or retreatments where diagnosis, isolation, technique, radiographic evidence and final result can be objectively assessed.
Best suited for: one-tooth endodontic treatments, including relevant complementary procedures when part of the treatment plan.
Orthodontic Treatment
Orthodontic Treatment
Orthodontic cases focused on correcting malocclusions, alignment and functional or aesthetic relationships.
Designed for treatments using fixed appliances, removable appliances or aligners, including complex orthodontic-surgical cases when properly documented.
Best suited for: cases where the orthodontic component is the main focus of treatment.
Periodontal Treatment
Periodontal Treatment
Periodontal cases focused on diagnosis, disease control, tissue stability and treatment outcome.
Designed for non-surgical or surgical periodontal treatments where clinical parameters, radiological documentation and case evolution are clearly presented.
Best suited for: cases with a clear periodontal diagnosis and documented treatment response.
Implant-Prosthetic Treatment
Implant-Prosthetic Treatment
Implant-based rehabilitation cases combining surgical placement and prosthetic restoration.
Designed for single or extended implant-prosthetic treatments where implant positioning, prosthetic planning, function and aesthetics can be evaluated together.
Best suited for: cases where the implant-prosthetic component is the main treatment focus.
Pediatric Treatment
Pediatric Treatment
Cases involving patients with temporary or mixed dentition.
Designed for pediatric treatments focused on oral health, restoration, prevention, caries management, space maintenance or guidance of dental development.
Best suited for: cases where the pediatric context is clinically relevant and clearly documented.

A category dedicated to dentists at the beginning of their professional journey.
